Christmas Crib and Carols outside the Spire

Representatives from 10 different churches - making the last two Saturdays a real Churches Together event! 

A huge thank you to all who took part.

· Poole Methodists, the Spire itself - Hilda and Gerald, 

· Longfleet Baptist - Janet and Kim, 

· Skinner St URC - Gail, Vera and Shirley, (via Tricia Knapp)

· St George's - Penny, Dee and Julie, 

· St Clement's - Mo, Lerys and his brilliant girls,  

· St James's - Margaret and Roger, 

· St Anthony's - Dorothy, 

· St Mary's Longfleet - Chris our magical guitarist, Anne and John, 

· St John's - Janet, 

· St Mary's RC - Mary, Gary, Liz, Priscila, Helen, Judith, Alf and David, 

· and saxophonist Martin - as yet theologically unattached!!

Over these two Saturdays 1,200 prayer cards were distributed, lit a lot of candles, sung every available carol, said many prayers with and for people, and handed out a fair number of sweets!  Today in particular made the case for recruiting a good number of carollers - including passers-by!

Do pray for that those cards, pushed hurriedly into pockets, may carry the message into homes and hearts.
