 Fair & Square Café:

Bridging Communities:
Up to 10,000 new people are coming to Poole. Alison Dalton is seconded from the URC to the project to ‘transform the regeneration area so that it reflects kingdom values, such as social justice and inclusion’.  alison@davealison.charitydays.co.uk    01202 669566 or mob. 07908110121


Anglican deanery Youth Worker Project:
employing youth workers to work with young people across the town. Nigel Lloyd nigel.lloyd@dsl.pipex.com

 

Pioneer Regeneration Worker Post:
New Anglican post to work in the regeneration area, from a new fund for such innovative posts. Hope to include ecumenical partners in the management group. Nigel Lloyd nigel.lloyd@dsl.pipex.com

 

Faithworks:
Now broadening area of work to become Faithworks Wessex. Now based in Boscombe. 2 current projects:
            - Debt and personal budget coaching – not professional counselling but assistance with personal budgeting and signposting to professional services.
            - Compass: Co-ordination and signposting service for older people

Faithlinks: Inter-faith network across the conurbation with 2 current projects:
            -
Seeds of Change environmental project.
            - Photographic project for capturing images of community.

Borough Chaplaincy: 2 current projects:
           
- Pilot project with Primary Care Trust to work on mental health problems;

Lent 09:
