Welcome to the Home Page of Churches Together in Poole. For some time Churches Together in Poole had been in cold storage, but now we are alive and kicking once again. That is not to say that nothing had been happening in this beautiful place, quite the opposite, but that we have been struggling to discover a way forward.

The Church of Christ is flourishing in Poole and is expressed through the 70+ individual churches, through local area groups of Churches Together, and projects/groups such as Poole Chaplaincy, Faithworks, Hope08, the Poole Strategic Partnership, PACE, the Poole Youth Collective, the Farside and in other ways. Do visit the web site links, and especially the Chaplaincy web site, www.chaplaincypoole.info , which at present fulfils much of the role that Churches Together might in being a point or information and for communication.

Nevertheless Churches Together in Poole still has a role in being a reference point for the church, for communication, the sharing of resources and ideas and to hold us together. We have now successfully relaunched Churches Together and are planning to meet quaterly at lunch time. Notes of that meeting have been circulated and information from groups that reported can be found on the links page.

The next meeting will be at Longfleet URC (opposite Poole Hospital) on Wednesday 17th September from 12.30 - 2.00pm.

it is our intention to have a "lighter" Churches Together in Poole . We hope that each area group and other interested groups will be represented and come along to share news, build relationship, pray and discover a way forward. Everyone is welcome. We very much hope you will play an active part of God's purposes for his church in Poole.
